Seattle and BC Selects Challenged D1 Teams

On the weekend, Feb 23 and 24, a team from Seattle and a team "BC Selects" consisted of Paralympic Gold medalists Richard Peter and James Treuer and our young rising stars played against our Division 1 teams Douglas College Royals and Douglas College Lions.

Division 1 teams struggled with different play styles that Seattle and BC Selects brought but appreciated the challenges. Most of the games were pretty close and saw a few great end games including one over-time over the weekend. 

Royals and Lions will be playing two more games at the BC Finals next weekend and the champions for 2012-13 season will be determined. 

Thanks to Team Seattle and all the players on BC Selects for coming. We would also like to thank Tim Frick and Simon Cass for travelling to coach our teams.
