There are some great opportunities to get active this summer in Fort St John! The City of Fort St John and PacificSport are helping to launch a community wheelchair sports program in Fort St John, beginning this Saturday at the Pomeroy Centre with a wheelchair basketball session and then hosting four drop-in wheelchair sports sessions this summer, with the goal of having additional programming this Fall. 

Wheelchair Basketball Session – in conjunction with the National Health Day event with the City of Ft St John
Date: Saturday, June 6th
Location: Pomeroy Sports Centre - 9324 - 96 Street, Fort St. John, BC V1J 6V5
Time: 3:00-5:00pm
Cost: FREE
*There will be sport chairs there to use for the session.
 
City of Ft St John - Wheelchair Sports Drop-In Sessions (Multi-sport)
Dates: Friday evenings, July 10, 24, August 7, and 21
Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Location: North Peace Arena - 9805-96 Avenue, Fort St John, BC V1J 1K9
Drop-In Fee: $3.00-Adults/ $2.00-17 & Under
*There will be sport chairs there to use for the session.
