New Westminster Wheelchair Basketball Program is on the Go
BCWBS and Douglas College are offering a beginner-to-intermediate level wheelchair basketball program until the end of July.
This weekly program consists of skills sessions and scrimmage games where new players, juniors, development players, and Active-for-Life players can work on their individual and team skills under a BCWBS coach’s guidance.
The program has started on June 3, however, drop-ins are still available!
*For a quality sport experience for everyone, the ability to follow a sequence of instruction, good upper body mobility and use of a manual wheelchair without assistance are required.
