2016-17 BC Junior Challenge

 

Date:               November 26/27, 2016 (Saturday/Sunday)

Location:        Samuel Robertson Technical (SRT), Maple Ridge

Registration: https://bcwbs.typeform.com/to/l06EYA 

Participants:  All participants must be 2016-17 season BCWBS individual members (not club member) between 8-24 years old. Players who are between 24-30 with less than 2 year experience are also welcome to attend the event. There will be the 8ft hoop option added to this year’s Jr Challenge, this is depending on numbers and registration.

Registration Deadline:         Forms and Fee MUST be submitted by Friday, November 4th                                 

Refund Policy:

No refund will be provided for any withdrawals after November 11th, 2016

·         Partial refund MAY be considered for withdrawals due to health issues on a case by case basis.  A doctor’s note is required.

 

(IMPORTANT) Supervision/Independence:         

                     This is a great opportunity for young athletes to spend extended time with their fellow athletes especially if they stay at the accommodation over the weekend. However, participants must be independent and able to take care of themselves on and off the court. There will be very limited coaches staying at the host hotel during the event so athletes will need a preplanned chaperone organized in advance. If an individual requires support with bathroom, medication, etc., please bring a caregiver/parent at your own cost.

 

Regional Players Travel Grant:

                      BCWBS members can apply to receive travel grant to this event, which can be used towards accommodation and transportation, if traveling from outside of the lower mainland. Grant Application click here.
