Gold Rush Got a Head Start in the New Season of Division 2
Okanagan Thunder and BCWBS hosted the first Division 2 tournament at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School in Kelowna on Oct 25/26. Six teams out of seven that registered for this season’s BC-CWBL Division 2 League attended the tournament. The weekend saw a few close games including the game where Gold Rush beat the last season’s champions Cable Cars with a great come-back and the game where the host team Okanagan Thunder just missed a win by 1 point against Bull-Dawgs.
Big thanks to Okanagan Thunder for hosting a great tournament and also to the referees especially those who traveled to Kelowna for the weekend.
