November 06, 2015 BC Wheelchair Basketball will be competing in the BC Winter Games in Mission this coming February. If you are 11-19 years old with or without a disability, come and try out for the teams! BC Wheelchair Sports & BC Wheelchair Basketball will be hosting a Multi-Sport Have a Go Day in Prince George on April 25th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. BC Breakers 2015 Wheelchair Basketball Festival
March 24, 2015 BCWBS and Douglas College hosted the BC Breakers Wheelchair Basketball Festival on March 21/22 at Douglas College in New Westminster. BC Breakers played games against the Calgary Rollers and Edmonton Inferno women’s clubs from Alberta in preparation for women’s nationals in April. 22 players from BC and two women’s clubs from Alberta attended the festival along with 8 coaches and several volunteers. read more...
BC Breakers Festival on March 21/22 - Schedule Updated
March 12, 2015 BCWBS is hosting the BC Breakers Festival at Douglas College in New Westminster on March 21/22. The event is open to all girls and women, able bodied or with a physical disability, including new players and first timers. The event features skills development sessions and fun 3 on 3 games while BC Breakers are competing against two teams from Alberta, Calgary Rollers and Edmonton Inferno.
