2012-13 Wheelchair Basketball Officials Exam Now Available
November 29, 2012 The annual officials exam is now on the WBC website. The exam is 30 questions this year instead of 25 and you must complete and pass (i.e. 27/30 score) to be considered for any post-season assignments. The exam can be found at here. BCWBS requires all officials at the provincial and national level to complete this exam annually - and we encourage everyone to complete it in an effort to stay up to date and educated on any changes in the game. read more...

Wheelchair Basketball Member Survey
November 07, 2012 Wheelchair Basketball Canada is asking that you (BC athletes, coaches, officials, and regular volunteers) please take the time to click on the link below and fill in the member survey by Monday November 12th. The feedback you provide in this survey is very important to them and to our sport. WBC will use it to prepare for the strategic planning sessions taking place the weekend of the AGM (Dec. 1-2, 2012), during which they will be crafting the Strategic Plan that will guide them for the next four years. read more...
Dean Receives BCBOA Life Membership Award
October 17, 2012 BCWBS Head Offiical Dean MacKinnon has received a Life Membership Award by BC Basketball Officials' Association (BCBOA) during their Annual General Meeting on September 29. BCWBS Officials Mini Clinic
August 22, 2012 BCWBS is hosting an officials clinic next month. 10:30am-4pm, Saturday September 15 @ Douglas College New Westminster 10:30am-12pm will be a classroom session. (The time may change slightly.) For 12-4pm, we are hosting the All-Comers Basketball Festival so the participants will get a chance to officiate games after the classroom session.
